The show in Anaheim was an absolutely special night! Blessed to have been a part of it. Prayers and blessings to Amy, Michael, and all the rest of the crew as you continue on the tour. May each night be a special night and may the blessings abound.

I cannot wait!! My wife and are attending both Ohio shows later this month… based on everything we’ve heard about the early shows, we will not be disappointed.

Does anyone know if these shows are being recorded? I hope so! I think a live CD / DVD release would do well. And, of course, selfishly, I would really like to have a CD / DVD for myself! ;-)

My wife and I were in attendance at the Anaheim show and it was such a blessed and annoited night. The love of God was in all of the songs and both Michael and Amy are so genuine and their love of Christ was so real. It was truly a memory that will bring joy and a smile to my wife and I for a long time. I wish only the best for both of them and their families. They are truly an example of Christs love in this world today. They are a blessing to all of us who are working everyday to walk the walk. Thank you for your testimony and faithfulness to Jesus.

A group of us out for ladies night were entranced and overjoyed by the show at the Packinghouse, 4 February 2010 in Redlands California. It was absolutely amazing evening. A real gem was the question and answer session. That was such a heart to heart in which we were privy to the real connection that you two share as lifelong friends. It was really a once in a lifetime concert and life experience, especially for this us ol’ ladies were screaming, singing, and crying along with Amy and Michael all through the evening. It was like old times. Thank you Amy and Michael for sharing your lives with us. You have always opened your hearts and minds to us and given us hope. Not only are we enriched by your witness but we feel akin, by knowing that “hey we are all the same”, God’s children. We stumble, fall down and get up by the Grace of God everyday. Amy and Michael, you rocked it in the 80′s and are still Leading me On, Everywhere I Go. Thank you and God Bless you and yourn.

I grew up singing Amy Grant in the car, at Christmas, on retreat with our family. Amy was a staple in our home anytime there was music on Amy was on. It was such a treat to see Amy and Michael together. Ive been to their concerts in the past and always wished they would sing “somewhere somehow” together. It was so beautiful, better than I could have ever imagined. I’m so thankful for your beautiful music and the message you both so clearly state. One of love and commitment to helping anyone in need. I told the girls I went to the concert with how whenever I turn on Amy’s music on for my mother with Alzheimer’s, how her face lights up and she smiles saying yes. She does not speak any longer but Amy’s music brings out something inside of her. Thank you for your light and love both of you. Grateful! <3

Looks like this event is a lot of fun. I heard the interview on KLOVE. Too bad I cannot attend any of the concerts, but I just saw there is a concert CD on itunes. Thanks for letting me still experience part of the event.
Enjoy the rest of the tour! :)

PLEASE COME TO PORTLAND! I just moved from Redlands, CA and so I missed you there. I have been to several concerts both Amy Grant and Michael W Smith and was so hoping to get in on this tour. PORTLAND OREGON!!!

  • Lola

My sister Donna and my daughter Amy and I were fortunate enough to have tickets to the show on Feb. 4th at The Packing House in Redlands, Ca. What a treat!! I have not seen Amy in concert since the late 80′s or early 90′s but you never would have known any time had gone by, she was just as wonderful as ever !! And bringing Michael W. along to share the stage was an extra bonus !!! Thanks Amy!!!! We loved it.

Thanks for sharing these photos. Wahoo! Hopefully, you can use that new camera for future updates. I’m hoping this tour could be captured on a cd/dvd. I’m sure it would be a big seller.

It has been many years since I have seen Amy in concert. Those were some of the best concerts I have ever been too. I havent seen her in concert since I got married 13 1/2 years ago. I so wish my husband and I could go. I am sure it is as wonderful now as it was years ago. With three kids now it is a little more difficult to be able to afford to go. God bless you Amy for giving us beautiful music. I wish you were coming to Indiana. Wonderful memories I still keep in my heart.

I was at the show in Arizona on Saturday night! The concert was amazing and getting to meet Amy was a highlight of my trip from Montana but really a highlight of my life! I hope every fan gets the chance to see this tour, great music which always brings back great memories!

I’ve been singing songs by Amy and Michael in church for years and feel so very blessed to have gotten tickets in the second row for the concert Saturday in Chicago. What a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my loving husband. I can’t wait!

Saw the Phoenix show, it was awesome, one of my favorite Amy performances of all time. If you are close to a city that she will be coming to, GO see this show, and if not, trake a trip, it’s amazing, you will NOT be disappointed!

  • Michelle Ball

Thank you SO much for the photos. Thank you also to Amy and Michael for performing with such heart at Ronald Regan’s 100th birthday celebration!! I loved seeing you both!!

Although my brothers and I are seperated by distance our musical tastes remain the same. My younger brother saw Amy and Michael last week (Feb 4) in Redlands, CA and said it was great. My older brother will see them (Feb 13) in Minneapolis, MN. I live in Myrtle Beach and will drive to North Charleston on Feb. 17th for the show. I have lost track of how many times I have seen Amy and Michael in concert, but have never been disappointed. The music is always wonderful and the stories shared are touching and thought provoking. Thanks for all the great memories!

I am so excited to attend Amy’s concert with my husband this Wednesday in Jacksonville, FL. I hope Amy and Michael reminisce a little about singing together in front of Cinderella’s castle at Walt Disney World (Orlando). It was one of the first Nights of Joy. I still remember that concert like it was yesterday even though it was way back in the 80′s. I wonder if they remember it, too.

  • Stephanie

Thank you so much for the treat of last night at Rosemont! God blessed me as I listened, reminisced, sang along and heard the voice of God again and again. It is a memory I will treasure for a long time!

  • Lisa

I’m not the best with putting my thoughts into words. After attending last night’s concert in Omaha I realized how much I used both yours and Michael’s music to speak for me from the time I was 12. It hit me driving home with our three children and my mother that your commitment to being positive, honest, responsible followers of Christ, through the easy and hard times, gave me a REAL vision for a life in Christ to strive for. To borrow your words again, I am so happy and unafraid to say “Look what has happened to me!” I am living the life I started singing about over 25 years ago. Thank you for being unafraid to share yourself and always giving credit and praise to our Maker and Friend!
    Peace be with you.

    AWESOME Concert in Minneapolis!
We were blessed with 3 hours of the best music of Amy Grant & Michael W Smith. We were so thrilled to be in Minneapolis to experience this event.

Thanks Amy & Michael for sharing your gifts of music, memories, and “Friends are Friends Forever” closing song – we love you both!!! Hugs

  • Cathy

First saw Amy the fall of 1979 in Tacoma, WA. My freshman pals from Pacific Lutheran U. were already huge fans. Remember the concert tour when Michael was opening for you. Now I live in Minneapolis and my Christmas present was tickets to your show. Fabulous concert! Really brought back so many memories. Your music has been significant in my life (turning 50 too!). Thanks for the blessing.

  • Stacey

First, “Thank You” to everyone who took the time to share their experience! I feel like I got a glimpse of everything! I was so disappointed to miss the show, but it was one of the last evenings we had to spend w/our oldest son before leaving for Boot Camp. I Love Ya’, Amy!…but I just wasn’t willing to give that up before closing that chapter of our life!! But by the sounds of everyone’s experience, all I can say now is…….BOY, I SURE HOPE YOU ARE TAPING THIS FOR DVD!!!! ox

This tour is amazing! If you are able to go — do it!!! Friends and I went to the Redlands, CA show (my hometown) on Feb. 4th and it was an uplifting, joy filled occasion! The Q and A was absolutely precious. It was so fun to hear them both talk about the emotional aspect of this reunion. I’ve been a fan since Age to Age, and I have to say that I wasn’t prepared for the wash of emotions I felt seeing them together again. Music truly does bring you back to that place in your life where you first heard it! For me, the song Friends was out my senior year in high school. Whew! On Saturday, I drove to Phoenix where I took my mom, my sister, and two nieces to the show at the Celebrity Theater. That was where I attended my first concert, which was Age to Age. So Amy and MWS is now my nieces’ first concert, and in the same place I went to see mine — and with the same artist! :) Life is, truly, a curious thing! It was pure joy.

Great concert! My favorite moment in Pittsburgh was when “Smitty” said softly, “I’ve got your back” and Amy stopped in the middle of a song intro, turned to him and said, “You always have.” You are true friends and it was a privilege to witness that and enjoy all the good music you two have done individually as well as together. And thank you, Amy for memories of dancing joyously around my living room with my firstborn to the sound of “Sing Your Praise to the Lord”.

Thanks for coming to Bismarck : ) Truly enjoyed a date with my husband . ” Celebrated our 30 th anniversary ” We loved the concert and were truly blessed by all of you. We moved away from ND from 1986 till 1990 and you both kept us awake at night traveling the roads in a semi from Des Moines to Omaha, NE 2 trips a night. Brought back good old memories. On a Journey with Him.

I went to the concert at Chastain Park. I absolutely had the best time! Thank you both so much for your incredible musical talent. I love listening to all your albums from the 70′s, 80′s, and 90′s all day long every day. I only wish I would have been born back then so I could have gone to one of your concerts. The music of today just doesn’t appeal to me. When I graduate from highschool, I want to play the piano, write songs, and record albums just like you. Thank you for being my biggest inspiration! Your music lifts me up, when I am feeling sad. And I couldn’t thank you enough for all you have done.
