Incredible video…

A few weeks ago I discovered a video on youtube that someone made to the song “Better Than A Hallelujah.”  I watched the video with tears in my eyes and was blown away that someone had taken time from their own busy life to create such a moving companion piece to the song.  However, they were using a version of the song that was not a final approved version so the video was disabled by EMI.  However, after a few discussions, EMI allowed the video to be put back up as long as the creator used the correct version of the song.

I showed the video to Amy today and she loved it and asked that I share it with all of you.  We hope you enjoy the experience as much as we do, and if you do — pass it on!

A special thanks to the video creator, Sherry Menely, for sharing her talents with all of us.

I’ve been learning the road of life is always under construction. You will encounter potholes, detours, and delays. But you must keep your eye on God’s purpose for your life, and keep moving forward, because no matter where you are in life, God always has more in store. There will always be new challenges and more mountains to climb. There will always be new dreams and more goals for you to pursue. Fulfilling the vision you have for your life requires time, patience, and commitment. The challenge is getting to the place where God wants you to be. I’ve been writing a few words of encouragement and insight in a blog the last several months, and you are always welcome to check it out, and even subscribe if you like. Take care and God bless.

Thank you for bringing this song to me – I love thinking of God in that way. The story of the prodigal son comes to mind when I listen to the lyric. It is a reminder for me that He is quick to forgive and slow to anger, and has such compassion for us even as we make messes of our lives.

“But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.” Luke 15:20

Thanks for lending your beautiful voice to this song-

The song Better Than A Hallelujah is a wonderful reminder that when we think our words or cries are not enough for God to hear…He hears so much more. Amy thanks for a wonderful song to listen and sing to.
