Porter’s Call Auction – ENDS TODAY

Posted on: September 30th, 2009 by Amy Grant 2 Comments

Years ago, a dear friend of mine and a very respected counselor in the Nashville area, Al Andrews, started a ministry called Porter's Call, a non-profit organization which exists to providing counseling, encouragement and support for recording artists and their families.  Many of my friends have received invaluable wisdom and support from Al and his incredible staff.  I have too.

As a way to raise funds, Porter's Call is holding an auction of several celebrity items.  As usual, I'm a bit late to the game when it comes to sitting down at my computer and blogging about things, but better late than never.  The auction ends TODAY.  There are some fun things to bid on and I've donated a handwritten lyric.

 Here it is…Porter's Call Auction

As the national and global economic crisis unfolds – its far from over – charities for schools, kids, seniors, single parents, refugees and our planet, across the globe and our nation will come to an an end. We’re inviting Amy and Vince to consider a method of insuring people who have focused on these services have a facility and a crew for years to come. Ask Vince to call Judith – his cousin – and she can reach me – and together we can pour billions into agencies that should not be lost and families that need hope. We don’t want your money Amy – just you and Vince smiling as we unfold a plan for America and the planet we all share – and of course – a few lyrics along the way to brighten someone’s day.
