I’m back…. :)

Sorry for the lenghty delay between blogs — hopefully you didn't give up on me.

So here we are – 2009!  I can hardly believe it has been 9 years since we were all worried about our computers failing due to y2k.  Time flies.

2009 promises to be a great year when it comes to new music.  Yes, you heard it right – NEW MUSIC.  In fact, today was Amy's first day in the studio to begin work on her new record.  She is very excited about some of the songs she has been recording and wants to get them recorded and released as soon as possible this year.  It is too soon to give you a feel for what the style of the recordings will be, but she has written or co-written all of the songs she is planning on recording.  I promise to give you more details in the coming weeks.

January kicked off with a bang in Nashville.  Amy and several other artists joined the Jonas Brothers for a concert at the Ryman on January 4th.  Here is a clip from youtube in case you haven't seen it:

We are also putting the finishing touches on the full launch of the website now that the Lead Me On and Christmas tours are behind us.  We should have something to unveal in the coming weeks… as well as a BIG announcement for Friends Of Amy members.

So come back often and I will keep you updated with news from the studio, candid photos of the recording process, and maybe even a sneak peak at one of the songs…  And also, keep checking Amy's blog because she is going to rev it back up again.

    Folks,
    Without a doubt, frequent blogging is a MAJOR commitment! I can speak from personal experience when I say that during some busy times in the year, an entire month can sneak by in between blog posts on my own site. I don’t plan that to happen, but there are times that it does. So I can certainly appreciate that we’ll see more blog activity here during some parts of the year (like when on tour) than other times.
