CHRISTMAS….

The Christmas tour starts tomorrow night! I know Amy and Vince are excited about doing a more intimate show this year and creating an environment that feels more like their living room than in years past. There is nothing like Christmas music to help create the holiday spirit and remind all of us to stop and celebrate this magical season.

Tickets are still available in most markets so if the show is coming to a city near you, I hope you can attend. It would be a great way for family and friends to spend time together.

Amy's Christmas Collection is selling well and "I Need A Silent Night" is getting airplay on several Christian and mainstream stations. It was featured in the Target circular last week, radio and tv spots are running in many markets, and Amy's Christmas music was featured in the NBC Skating special that aired last week. Next Tuesday morning, Dec. 10, Amy and Vince will be singing on The CBS Early show and then Amy will be doing more press the rest of the day (Fox & Friends, Oprah radio, ABC radio network, etc.). Also – not sure if all of you are aware of it, but Oprah plugged the new Christmas Collection record on her show last week.

Today is my first day back in the office after an extended Thanksgiving break with family so I am going to get back to work but I will write more later….after I dig out from

Uh… Jennifer, I think you are just as mentally fried as I am at the moment (I’m trying to keep track of ticket sales and PSA’s and catering arrangements and…. for Charlotte – I think my head may just explode!), because next Tuesday is actually December 9th, not the 10th. With the show in Baltimore on the 10th, I’m guessing that the media day is actually the 9th? Which is Tuesday, as you stated.
I loved your blog post info so much that I copied it and sent it out in a mass emailing to all of our Charlotte Rescue Mission press contacts, as that day of national media exposure is indeed significant and wonderful news!

I apologize for the double post —- I seem to be experiencing “browser” problems. My comment was there, then it wasn’t, then I posted again and now it’s there twice. Or maybe I’m just seeing double! (I have not been drinking, I swear….)

Oh, I absolutely cannot wait until this Sunday (Dec. 7) when my family and I will be attending Amy & Vince’s Christmas show at the MGM Grand here in CT. We’re way up in the nosebleed section, row NN, but I couldn’t be happier!

Today is Dec 10, and Amy and Vince were NOT
on the CBS early show. I didn’t get a chance to look at the website again, so today, a day late, I see another blog entry stating that the correct date was Dec. 9. I know everyone is busy getting ready for Christmas, but please, folks, give us the correct dates for these appearances so we don’t miss them. Does anyone know if the Early Show appearance might be on their website?
