Great day! Long, but great

Had our first rehearsal with stage and lights today….
It’s fun to have an actual “set”, but I got a little nervous today wondering what to do with my arms and legs when I wasn’t holding my guitar.
Dance?
If I were in the crowd I would want to move…I feel sort of silly jumping around these days. ..
Anyway, it’s way too late to be awake, but I’m trying to shift my body clock a little later.
I’ll figure out the movement thing another day.
Friends are coming to rehearsal tomorrow.
A few came today.
All eight clapped, which was nice.
With the economy the way it is, that might be a record crowd.
Mmmmmmm
Even if. It has still been worth it.

    I would be more than happy to jump up on strange and dance with you! I am sure it feels different when you don’t have the guitar in your hands to keep you ‘safe’. I have no doubt the show will be fab with or without you moving around.
    I have been wondering how ticket sales have been. With the economy the way it is, I can’t imagine large crowds at the LMO tour or the Christmas tour. On some level I am sure you aren’t concerned about the number of seats sold, but on the other hand, I am sure it is on the back of your mind.
    Enjoy the last few days of rehearsal and have a blast while you are on the road. I can’t wait to see you on Nov 21st!

    Amy, it’s been so long since I’ve gotten to see you live, I can’t freaking wait! This record is so special, well deserving to be played, heard, and celebrated live once again. As or rockin’ out – don’t forget you once said that the feet get a little restless when they spend too much time on concrete? (Unguarded tour book, yea, I’ve dug them out again)… I can’t wait for the 20th Anniversary LMO tour because each of those songs are just incredible gems. I will be right there in Hershey, ready to dance a step or two – just like I did in Atlanta on the ’88 LMO stop – but it’s always you that gets the crowd to their feet. I’m remembering… Love of Another Kind, Find A Way, Wise Up, Wait..Healing, Say Once More, Shadows, If These Walls, and the big LMO song itself… just cannot wait!

    We miss you here in Canada!!!! Wish you would come back. Iam working
    on getting tickets to your christmas show in Albany New york. My 11 yr old is a mega fan. She was crushed when she found out you were coming to Ontario last fall but that she would not be able to attend with us
    as they do not allow children at the casinos.(My husband called her at home on his cell so she
    could hear you sing baby baby..she couldn’t believe it was you!!)
    Her only wish (in her 11 yrs on this earth)is to attend an Amy Grant concert. So I am doing my best to make this work. If it does..this truely will be a Christmas to remember! I never would
    have imagined,as a teen listening to your music that one day I
    would have a little girl who loves you and your music as much as I
    did.(and still do)

    I hope all of the venues fill up enough to make it worth everyone’s while on your end. Every day I drive past the Lead Me On poster that’s on the side of a truck, parked in a field by the freeway. It’s somewhat amusing to see it there, but I hope it’s generating ticket purchasing. I suppose not everyone is out there buying tickets the day of the pre-sale.
    And I’m going with the suggestion of dance if you feel like it. It’s likely that the rest of us will be. Except perhaps not my husband — would you believe he’s spending his 49th birthday at the concert with me? That’s a good man right there. I think we’re both pretty lucky women.

    hahahah, funny. wOw, the songs of lead me on are so great to dance and simple. I bet you gonna do that dances again, just act like a child.
    oh, I’d like to see it. Chris rodriguez could dance whith the guitar too, i saw on the you tube videos the wise up performance of yours, and i liked it (to the left and to the right, as a wave):).
    ?I hope someone record it , some fan, don’t know. but i want to see this shows here in brazil.:)

    Amy-You have no idea what a profound effect you had in/on my life. I was introduced to your music in the mid-80′s along with someone else who shall remain nameless (MSW) and have continued to follow your careers and your lives. I have tried to make concerts when you perform locally and hope now that we have an awesome new stage (Sprint Center in KC), you’ll come back here. I am excited that you’ll be playing more of your earlier tunes, you are classic as well as your music. Please don’t ever stop singing and spreading God’s messages.
    I was hoping that I would have a chance to talk to you via a quick phone call following your soundcheck in Nashville (10/09). Apparently a small group was actually there to witness the event (thanks to Matt’s girlfriend, she’s a backup singer in your band). Regretfully, I held on the line but you didn’t make another pass through. Anyway…peace be with you and good luck on your tour.

    Is Gary going to be on this tour too? He was one of the original band members, you know. Now that would be something to see! I think you once said that LMO was Gary’s record. Not sure I will be able to attend as you are in our area 11/21 and we are heading to FL to visit family, but saw first LMO tour at the Garden State Art Center in an out door arena here in NJ! Great concert!
